Trump puts plan to designate Mexican cartels as terror organizations on hold

President Trump announced Friday that he was delaying a designation of Mexican drug cartels as terror organizations. Trump said he was doing so ’at the request of a man who I like and respect’, in reference to Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Trump said instead the two nations will step up joint efforts to deal decisively with the groups.

I guess President Manuel Andrés is worried that you're not allowed to hug terrorists.

I honestly think Mexico needs to reconsider allowing the U.S. to help in anyway necessary. It sends a poor message to the rest of the world when we cannot unite under an obvious cause.

THis is a good move we do not need to use our armed services as police. These drug cartels are doing this for PROFIT not a political reason. These heinous crimes are just that CRIMES so our troops should not go there. Also think if you were Mexican would you allow a foreign army in your country to kill people?
