Two indigenous men killed in Brazil

Two indigenous men, members of the Guajajara tribe in northeastern Brazil, were shot dead on Saturday, and two others were wounded. The site of the incident was not far from where a prominent tribesman who defended the Amazon rainforest was also killed last month. A spokesman for the tribe said they did not know why the two men had been shot. An investigation is on.

“the murders reflected an escalation of violence against tribes people” when are these tribes going to be integrated into modern Brazil? At a certain point, trying to preserve things how they were is no longer feasible. The juxtaposition of native tribes in the jungle vs swarms of drones mapping/cataloguing/studying/monitoring the area, a constellation of satellites moving across the sky, and delivery drones transversing the region show how increasingly ridiculous this is going to get. The world changes, people need to change with it.
