Policeman ’ambushed and executed’ in patrol car in Arkansas

An Arkansas police officer was fatally shot by a gunman who opened fire behind a local police building. Suspected gunman London Phillips, 35, started shooting at the back entrance of the Fayetteville, Arkansas Police Department Saturday. The suspect ’ambushed and executed’ Officer Stephen Carr, 27, by shooting into his parked patrol vehicle. The gunman was killed in retaliatory fire by officers.

And people wonder why our LEOs are the way they are, an aggressive response to noncompliance isn't police brutality its police self-preservation they're trained to maintain control over any situation for a reason and it's not to persecute you because "insert identity bullshit here". Prayers and condolences to Officer Carr's family and the families of all those who have recently died in the line of duty whatever that service may be, this is a bad time of year to lose a loved one.
