Reporter’s butt slapped on live television by man running in race

A jogger slapped TV reporter Alex Bozarjian’s behind as she reported live from a race in Georgia. Bozarjian was covering the annual Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run on Saturday. The video posted to Twitter shows Bozarjian speaking on camera and smiling by the side of the race before a male runner apparently hit her from behind. The video has evoked an strong response from users online.

Should this sort of behavior be tolerated? No. Banning the man who did this seems like the most punitive thing one can do that isn't far out there. At the same time, the guy was rebuked. As gross as it was, no corrective action seems appropriate that has not already been done. One needs to move on.
