...Soo what. You want us to stop all realistically attainable forms of sustaining our societies, communities, and civilizations. Look I get it environmentalism and preserving the natural beauty of our world is important and there are some issues we should quickly address such as the immense amount of plastic disposal and pollution in our oceans. But outright panicking like senseless chimps won't fix a fucking thing. We can improve on green technology and more sustainable and efficient forms of energy and material production while at the same time repurposing and revitalizing our mineral and fossil fuel production and allowing for innovation to resume in all segments of those industries. Who knows the solution may just be in the very thing we thought was the fundamental problem.

"Rose Whipple, of the Santee Dakota, native to Minnesota in the United States, called for an approach based on tradition and technology. “The climate crisis is a spiritual crisis for our entire world. Our solutions must weave science and spirituality and traditional ecological knowledge with technology,” she said." --Reuters A very wise proposal in the face of an age of predatory modernity. The modern age has a void of missing spirit, of missing traditions, it is addicted to material and drunken on the cult of action. Reintegrate the other half of the human mind and restore the lost wisdom of traditions. Pure reason and rationalism is very destructive if not governed by superior principles. Man can do some truly amazing things without much education, but arrogance will hamper his sight.

Go Greta! You're having the effect you want. The same ranters are stuck on attacking you personally and yet you bring more attention and more action to our cause. You are an inspiration to me and the rest of the world.
