US Supreme Court leaves in place Kentucky abortion restriction

The Supreme Court Monday allowed a Kentucky law to go into effect that requires doctors to perform an ultrasound on patients seeking an abortion and play the sounds of the fetus’ heartbeat. The 2017 law also requires providers to give detailed descriptions of the images. The court rejected a challenge brought by the American Civil Liberties Union. The ACLU said the law has no medical basis.

This is a simple law why is it so controversial. If you preform a xray or ultra sound the results should always be shown and explained. If a doctor didn't do that i would think there was something wrong.

I don't regret my abortion. I regret I had to make that choice after being raped.
