Pete Frates, Ice Bucket Challenge inspiration dies aged 34

The inspiration for the viral Ice Bucket Challenge, Pete Frates has died at the age of 34. He was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) which is also known as motor neurone disease in the year 2012. The former college baseball star was surrounded by his family at the time of death.

He was a true hero. He truly made all our lives better by what he did with his life. If all of us could impact just those around us with that much good, the world would be radically better. I send good thoughts and prayers to his family that they know he was a great man and a hero in this world that so many of us need. The deeds of the great live on long after a life has ended. His spirit stays with us and will echo through time. These are the most honourable words I can wish them at this time. May you find peace good people.
