Netflix could lose 4 million U.S. subscribers next year, warns analyst

Another brokerage has cut its rating for Netflix, arguing competition from new streaming services could lead to the loss of 4 million premium U.S. subscribers next year. Needham downgraded the tech giant to ’underperform’, believing Netflix will have to add a lower priced service to compete with competitors including Apple and Walt Disney.

And I will be one of them. About to finish the office and in tired of the woke originals.

If they continue making woke garbage in place of their formerly great originals then hell yeah they will. Losing all of Disney's content isn't going to help either. Even though Disney's new and upcoming content is even worse garbage, their back catalog is huge and valuable.

They've supposedly been about to collapse for some time now. I don't care that they get into political documentaries. That stuff never shows as suggestions. Better than supporting Disney+ or CBS All-Access.

Netflix hasn't been producing or streaming anything I would be interested in lately, so yeah, my family will be trying a new platform at the beginning of next month.

Agilent Technologies is a better investment at this time. Should the Democrats get in, American healthcare may focus more on preventative medicine than profiting off the sick. Furthermore with Disney and Apple entering the field, Netflix will have to react with new features. Expect a social aspect to be added to Netflix. Expect an indie movie aspect on user made 'channels' as seen on YouTube, with a profit-per-play model like YouTube. These are ways they could expand their platform.
