It was a misjudge in decision-making, says runner who slapped reporter’s behind

Tommy Callaway, the jogger who brazenly slapped a Georgia reporter’s behind on live TV, claimed he didn’t realize where he’d touched the journalist. ’I was getting ready to bring my hands up and wave to the camera to the audience, there was a misjudge in character and decision-making’, said Callaway, a youth group leader at his church.

Look, what he did is stupid and wrong. He should be punished for his behavior, because we can't accept that type of thing in society. She also looked extremely weak and fragile in how she responded to it. Many are saying she was empowered. I didn't see that. O saw a woman who let something quite minor affect her in a disproportionate way. A strong woman would stand up and say what he did is wrong, but it won't affect me and it won't stop me from being me. That is power, not acting like a fragile porcelain doll that will never be the same because someone slapped your ass. That is ridiculous.

Anything anyone does to someone else regardless of what sex they are can and usually is taken as some form of sexual haressment. I'm in no way saying that a slap on anyone's ass cannot be taken as haressment, but it's not always meant the way it's being taken now days. Take a couple, any couple, man and woman, woman and woman, man and man, if one of them slap their respective partner on the ass is that taken as haressment? Or a way to show affection? And in today's world, there is somewhere out there, someone filing haressment charges on their partner just because. Thanks #metoo I think things are getting a bit out of hand.

A misjudgement? Really? I also can't comprehend how he couldn't tell the difference between slapping her ass and touching her back.
