Comey claims vindication after Horowitz FISA report: ’So it was all lies’

Former FBI director James Comey seized on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) report findings Monday to claim vindication over the bureau’s handling of the Trump-Russia probe in 2016, saying criticism of the probe ’was all lies’. ’So it was all lies. No treason. No spying on the campaign. No tapping Trumps wires. It was just good people trying to protect America,’ Comey Tweeted.

"The report outlines at least 17 "significant errors or omissions" in FISA surveillance applications for Trump campaign aide Carter Page, but does not claim that intentional misconduct occurred. These errors were so significant that IG Horowitz's report launched an internal Department of Justice audit into the way the FBI applies for warrants to conduct surveillance on U.S. citizens." https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/politics/read-the-full-doj-inspector-generals-report-on-the-fbis-russia-probe
