Walmart brings autonomous grocery deliveries to Houston

Walmart has teamed up with Nuro, a California-based autonomous vehicle startup, to pilot grocery deliveries in Houston. Walmart will use Nuro’s self-driving R1 vehicle to shuttle food from ’select’ stores to customers who’ve opted into the program. The service is expected to start in the ’coming weeks’.

Nuro is already partnered with Poppa Johns (in Houston, I think) and with Kroger (in Denver). Very cool!

It must make it easy. Just place the stuff on the cart and it will drive to the destination.
