Peloton shares tumble as bearish report adds to woes

Peloton shares tumbled after a Citron Research short-seller note pointed to ’clear flaws’ in the exercise company’s business model and an ’overly promotional’ management team. Peloton cycles start at $2,245, not including digital membership fees that cost at least $19.49 a month. Citron warned that competitors are starting to catch up and create similar products that are more affordable.
