Ex-Turkish PM forms party challenging Erdogan

Former Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu has set up a political party that represents a challenge to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s ruling party. Davutoglu, 60, served as PM from 2014 to 2016, before falling out with Erdogan. He has since criticized Erdogan’s economic management, and accused the party of curbing basic liberties and free speech.
