House passes bill to lower drug prices

The House of Representatives on Thursday approved legislation aimed at driving down the prices that senior citizens pay for prescription drugs. Well this is great news for old farts like me. Sadly the insurance companies will reap the most benefit and some will trickle down to me and my wife. If Pelosi would simply retire I would surely no longer need blood pressure meds.

How does the government not know that regulations increase drug prices not reduce them. You can't legislate companies to make products at a loss. Instead they will just stop making them. To reduce costs you would have to help reduce the cost of production. To do that you would have to reduce regulations on the production. This is not rocket science.

Wow, first they finally work on Trump's trade deal now this? Talk about pulling an all nighter before the test. Think the Dems are finally realizing that they're failing with impeachment and the election is getting out of their reach right now so they're doing anything to try and gain some of that ground they've lost.
