Pentagon tests ballistic missile that would’ve been banned by INF treaty

The Pentagon has apparently conducted a second test of a missile that would have been banned under the, now abandoned, INF treaty with Russia. The test missile was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California on Thursday and flew for over 500 kilometers. In a supporting statement, the Pentagon said the test would aid the ’development of future intermediate-range capabilities’.
