MLB will begin testing for opioids in 2020

MLB announced changes to its drug use and testing policies on Thursday, removing marijuana from its ’drugs of abuse’ and announcing mandatory tests for cocaine and opioids. The policy will be effective during spring training in 2020. Players testing positive will be evaluated and prescribed a treatment plan.

"...removing marijuana from its 'drugs of abuse'..." Makes sense to me. Can marijuana really be considered a performance enhancer for anything other than an eating contest?

Good, athletes get roughed up and soar cannabis is a much better alternative than opoids or muscle relaxers.
