Live Nation allegedly forced venues not to buy from its competition

The Department of Justice is considering legal action against Live Nation for allegedly forcing music venues to use Ticketmaster for purchases. This violates the legal agreements Live Nation made when merging with Ticketmaster in 2010.

Just look at what Ticketmaster did to Pearl Jam, why are these companies allowed to have a damn near monopoly on access to viewing live popular musical art? Not a single consumer benefits from this charade, it is absolutely ridiculous.

At Download festival in England when it rains heavy they put down bales of straw in foot deep mud which lasts an hour or so before it becomes one with the mud, 2000 kids got washed out with liquid mud in 2012 and most years tbh, nothing from LN. An awesome festival thats ruined by greedy organisers Live Nation. All about the money as all traders in the "village" are linked to a central hub so that LN get 30% off the top instantly throughout the festival, cameras pointing at tills so no discrepancies occur. When it was good old "Monsters of Rock" festival it was way better.
