Hong Kong leader travels to China amid pressure to end protests

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has traveled to Beijing on Saturday, where she has meetings scheduled with senior Chinese officials. The four-day trip is aimed at finding a way to end the pro-democracy protests in the city which have persisted for more than six months. Lam will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Monday.
