Qantas aircraft evacuated in Sydney after smoke fills cabin

Passengers on a Qantas Airways evacuated their plane via emergency slides at Sydney airport on Sunday after the flight was forced to turn around. Qantas said in a statement later that the flight to Perth returned to Sydney after takeoff due to a hydraulic issue. Engineers were reported to have been inspecting the aircraft, an Airbus A330-200 that can carry up to 271 passengers.
