Jeff Van Drew New Jersey Democrat expected to switch parties

Poor JVD. Ostracized for doing the right thing and standing against impeachment. When will democrats wake up and realize their insane religion is turning everyone against them? Perhaps never...

Ehh. If many did this it'll just water down the conservatives in the party. Making the Republican party more liberal. There's a big enough problem with this anyway.

First of a few expected Democrats to see the light and switch to Trump. Purely to preserve their political career.

Good, the Democratic Party only represents a small vocal minority of the population anyway. Hopefully a move like this draws attention and wakes a few of the people the Democratic Party used to represent...I doubt it but one can hope.

Wait why do you have to meet with anyone to change your party? Legit I don’t understand if Trump says no he can’t switch. Also why change. You could disagree with your party and not leave it. I guess I’m questioning the whole thing

Not the first Dem to switch parties over this. Third, I think, though one of them went independent.

If a Democrat becomes a Republican but acts like a Democrat on major issues, how can you tell them from all of the other RINOs in the GOP?

I notice he didn't vote against the inquiry. Typical politician seeking re-election. Say anything, believe nothing.
