304 Iranians killed in protests, says Amnesty

Amnesty International said on Tuesday that at least 304 people have been killed in Iran during anti-government protests that broke out last month. Thousands have been arrested including children as young as 15. Iranians took to the streets on Nov. 15 to protest against fuel price rises.

A chick at work who emigrated from Iran keeps shoving this in people's faces. I told her as sad as it is, why isn't she back there fighting for the rights of her people where it would be more effective than telling coworkers who, quite frankly, don't really care. She was not happy with my answer.
