Violence erupts in Delhi over India’s citizenship law

Police fired tear gas and resorted to baton charges to disperse thousands of demonstrators in Delhi, as protests against a new citizenship law continued for a fifth straight day across the country. In Dehli, three buses were torched as police clashed with demonstrators, including university students. The new law entitles non-Muslim migrants from three neighboring countries to citizenship.
