US-China trade deal ’totally done’, says Lighthizer

US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer has said the US-China trade deal ’is totally done, absolutely’. Lighthizer added, though, that there would be some routine ’scrubs’ to the text. As per the deal, the US will reduce some tariffs on Chinese goods in exchange for increased Chinese purchases of US agricultural, manufactured and energy products by some $200 billion over the next two years.
