Trump’s former national security advisor loses motion to delay sentencing

Michael Flynn, who served as President Trump’s first national security advisor, will be sentenced on Jan. 28 for lying to the FBI about his conversations in 2016 with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak. Judge Emmet Sullivan rejected his allegation that prosecutors improperly withheld key evidence from his defense team prior to him entering a plea agreement over charges of lying to the FBI.
