France fines Google $166 million

France’s regulator looking after competition has fined Google $166 million for ’abusing its dominant position’ when it comes to advertisements. The agency blamed Google Ads for using methods that are ’opaque and difficult to understand’ which are implemented in an ’unequal and arbitrary way’. Google has said it would appeal the fine.

So because France can't get money from Google through tax, they do it through fines. Watch another case spring up in a year or 2.

France literally does this to everyone (as does most of Europe). It's run by greedy tenardier fr33 masons. A worthier head for the guillotine in France there is not.
