DNC raises requirements for candidates to qualify for Jan debate

Qualification requirements for the January Democratic presidential debate were raised by the Democratic National Committee. This was done despite demands by people for lower standards to be set this time. As per new rules, a candidate needs to have at least 5% support in four or more recognized polls, among other new rules.

debates mean nothing anymore except showing us who's the loudest. 30 seconds isnt long enough to answer a questions about running the country so these debates are null

New debate rules: You can only go on the stage if the polls say your name rhymes with Bo Jiden or Willizabeth Yoran.

Corey doesn't seem to like meritorious selection criteria. Sounds like the perfect democratic candidate...

I don't see what the problem is. Democratic voters, via the polls have spoken. They don't want diversity. They especially don't want Booker. Democratic voters want old, white rich people to to lead them by their nose rings.

In the internet era, why wouldn't the candidates complaining about the DNC debate rules just set up their own debates and stream them on YouTube? The # of viewers would probably be higher than the televised debates. Hell with people like Joe Rogan or Jimmy Dore as moderators that video would be viral in a hearbeat.
