Impact of decline in local newspapers

The New York Times interviews five reporters who lost their jobs because local newspapers shut down. The reporters relate some of the stories that they think should be covered but are not because the papers are gone. These included the stresses resulting from economic development near Dallas and rumors of sexual abuse in the New Orleans school system.
