McDonald’s manager says faulty drinks machine caused two deaths

As per the management at the McDonald’s outlet in Peru where two staff were fatally electrocuted, a drinks machine had an electrical fault but the issue was not escalated. All of Peru’s 29 McDonald’s have been closed while local operator, Arcos Dorados, completes safety checks. The incident has sparked protests with demands of better working conditions and better wages.
