BBC considers curb on journalists’ use of Twitter

The BBC is considering a move to restrict its journalists’ use of Twitter. This comes in light of criticism faced by political editor Laura Kuenssberg for her tweets during the recent elections. Kuenssberg issued an apology after tweeting a false claim that an aide of Health Secretary Matt Hancock was punched by a Labour activist. An outright ban is unlikely but stringent rules maybe put in place.

Look at that, endless false informations that hurt the Right and nobody bats an eye, one false information that cuts against the Left and the BBC reacts.
