China to cut import tariffs on 859 items

China is expected to cut tariffs on hundreds of products next year. Chinese authorities said import tariffs on 859 items, ranging from pork to high-tech parts, would be reduced from 1 January. The government said the tariff changes would be made to ’increase imports of products facing a relative domestic shortage, or foreign speciality goods for everyday consumption’.

I'm curious what the Left will say about this concerning Trump and how he's somehow wrong for doing this. It's just like when he started withdrawing troops from the Middle East, they said he was doing it wrong.

Which is scarier... That China has complete control over its economy and decides what it's people eat, how much they pay, and surveillance is widespread?... Or that the USA is quickly turning into the same thing?
