Verizon adds three more 5G cities, total count surpasses goal of 30 in 2019

Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, and Hampton Roads, Virginia, were the latest cities to get Verizon’s 5G service which now includes 31 in total. Users in Cleveland can access 5G in parts of the downtown area and near landmarks like Progressive Field and the Great Lakes Science Center. The deployment puts Verizon ahead of AT&T in terms of cities covered. Its arch-rival has launched 5G in 10 cities.
