US recalls Ambassador to Zambia after he criticizes prosecution of gay couple

Daniel Foote has been recalled by the US after the Zambian government objected to he objected to the jailing of a gay couple. Foote was the US ambassador to Zambia and said he was horrified when two men were sentenced to 15 years in prison after they were caught having sex. He also criticized lack of prosecution for corruption regarding aid to Zambia which annually receives $500 million US aid.
