Uber co-founder and former CEO to resign from company’s board

Uber founder and former CEO Travis Kalanick is leaving the company’s board of directors on December 31. Kalanick will now ’focus on his new business and philanthropic endeavors,’ according to a statement issued by Uber. Kalanick disclosed Tuesday that he has sold off all his Uber stock and is resigning from the board of directors. Kalanick was forced out as Uber CEO in 2017.
