Michael Bloomberg faces criticism for using prison labor

Democratic presidential contender, Michael Bloomberg, is facing criticism after his presidential campaign got caught using female inmates in an Oklahoma prison to make calls to promote his campaign. Bloomberg said that his campaign was unaware that a contractor gave out some of its phone bank work to a firm that uses prison labor. The campaign has now cut ties with the company.

But aren’t the Dems the ones that always say that the GOP wants to keep private prison labor alive and well, just like they said the GOP wants illegal immigration for cheap labor?

If prison inmates actually want to work for a call center for whatever pitance is offered, I don't have a problem with it. The problem is that prisoners, by law, may not vote. It's therefore utterly innapropriate to have prison inmates working for a political campaign. However, it is consistant with the view of the current Democrat party to have prison inmates work for them for next to nothing. They want to provide a basic, and equal living to everyone. You work for the government or at least the government takes most of you earnings, then the government pays for your home, health care, and food, and you get or are left with a handful of cash each month to buy optional privilages if you prove you are a good, obedient, correct thinking inmate - I mean constituent.

Bloomberg is another caviar-left candidate, so I find it funny that super wealthy people call themselves leftists, and the other sheeple that follow them accept it. But that's just the average leftist's hypocrisy in plain sight. Now, regarding the piece: prisoners working? GOOD. They are in the correction system, if they find a way to redirect their time for a trade, they are preparing themselves to come back to the world and actually getting their shit together. Yes, even if they are working for a PoS.
