A coordinated Christmas Eve ’silent night’ protest has been scattered by the Hong Kong riot police. The protest had been organized by pro-democracy activists. Rowan Williams, the former archbishop of Canterbury has pushed for the British government to take actions to protect the city’s freedom and high degree of autonomy.
