Remains of Army Special Forces soldier killed in Afghanistan return to US

The remains of Sgt. 1st Class Michael J. Goble, 33, who died in combat in Afghanistan’s Kunduz province Monday have been returned to the US. A Bronze Star recipient, Goble, of Washington Township, N.J., was completing his final tour of duty when he was killed in a roadside bombing. Goble was assigned 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
