Russia, China, Iran to hold naval drills as US tensions grow

Russia, China and Iran are set to conduct joint naval drills in the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Oman from Friday. The military exercises are to take place amid heightened tensions in the region after the Trump administration withdrew from a landmark nuclear pact with Tehran. The Chinese defense ministry has said the drills will ’deepen exchange and cooperation’ between the navies of the countries.

This is why America should care about more than just "America First" policies and what happens outside their borders. Not playing on the world stage has caused a power vacuum and this is a bad sign of things to come.

That's why we need Russia as an ally. Without Russia China cannot advance its aerospace and missle tech plus that means we have an ally directly north of China.

Those Iranian sanctions are working their magic. Let's have more military posturing. That has historically worked out well.

To Michael. Russia will NEVER be on our side. Don't you get it. Russia has played Trump for a fool. Putin is former KBG, and Trump is nothing more than a reality TV personality. He knows nothing about foreign policy, listens to no one, thinks he knows more than anyone else, and believes he is above the law. He tells the American public that he's not taking a salary, but how much does it cost in taxpayer dollars for him to fly around to all his resorts so he can play golf. Trump spends more time watching TV in the residence and tweeting than he does working. Come on people, wake up. Don't be so gullible and keep believing all of Trump's lies.
