Japanese public broadcaster accidentally says North Korea fired a missile

NHK, the Japanese public broadcaster, mistakenly reported on Friday that North Korea had fired a missile that landed in the sea near Japan’s northernmost island, Hokkaido. NHK ran the newsflash on its website, but deleted it 20 minutes later. The broadcaster apologized for the mistake, but was rebuked by the chief cabinet secretary, nevertheless.
