Bolivia expels Mexican ambassador

The Bolivian government has expelled the Mexican ambassador. Bolivia and Mexico have been embroiled in a feud ever since Mexico granted asylum to ousted Bolivian leader Evo Morales last month. Bolivia’s interim President Jeanine Áñez said Ambassador María Teresa Mercado had been given 72 hours to leave the country. The Mexican government said it has recalled its ambassador for her own safety.
