Civil rights leader Rep. John Lewis diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer

Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), an icon of the civil rights movement, is suffering from Stage 4 pancreatic cancer and will undergo treatment. Lewis said that he is ’clear-eyed’ about the prognosis, but that his doctors believe recent medical advances have made this type of cancer treatable. Lewis vowed to fight the disease with the same vigor as that which he fought for racial equality.

Wow. Now his pancreas is to him what he was to Congress.

Rep. Lewis has been in office 34 years and will turn 80 in February. He has put in his time. Think he should retire and focus on his health.

THis is sad news he was a fighter. Also sad is both of these stories are just reporters reading twitter and re posting tweets pretending to be journalist. Maybe if they got off their ass and went and interviewed Mr. Lewis or his family they would have a story worth telling.

Intresting picture. Why is a Representative wearing black nationalist colors, when their job is to represent everyone, at least their voters, not just their own skin color, right? Why is that acceptable? Would a woooite version be tolerated? Hell no and for good reason. So why is that okay?

Praying for all our known leaders who fought and fighting for equality in our daily lives I pray for recovery if you can't smear a democratic leader you and can't remove just give them cancer wow politics is deadly. i.e John F Kennedy, Robert Kennedy assassinated, shot at Ronald Reagan, Sen McCain, Leo Ryan of California is the only U.S. Member of Congress murdered while in office. He was killed by members of the People's Temple in Guyana in 1978.Elijah Eugene Cummings (January 18, 1951 – October 17, 2019) was an American politician and civil rights advocate who served in the United States House of Representatives for Maryland's 7th congressional district from 1996 until his death in 2019. He was a wonderful and caring humanitarian. I think we need to look into these Doctors and we should go back to Multiphasic for our medical for all.

I am praying for our leaders in THe United States I hope for recovery for all. I think that It is amazing to pray and the Lord Jesus Christ to really heal our land. I don't understand why the rich think they need more and we have to contend with less, If the 1% could give all of their interest to the poor we really wouldn't need the help of the government. How much more can you make and still need and when you die your beneficiary will fight for it. All the money you make will not keep you from dying. So that' s the truth. If you are a billionaire and you have no children who do you leave it to the cat or the dog or the birds who. I seen somewhere in the bible that a rich man has a slim chance of heaven as a camel go through the eye of a needle. I know why I am haven't won the lottery because I would truly help the less fortunate . and also you have to play which I can't fixed income.
