Illinois sees first legal sales of recreational marijuana

The sale of marijuana for recreational purposes became legal Wednesday in Illinois. Longline of customers was seen in front of weed dispensaries across the state who opened their doors before sunrise. Illinois became the 11th state in US to legalize recreational pot use in June after Gov. Pritzker signed a bill into law, allowing residents to buy the drug from licensed dispensaries from Jan. 1.

Weed just needs to be legal everywhere so we can really hurt the cartels. Better that Marijuana is treated like alcohol in the legal stated and that makes sense to me.
