Death toll in Australia rises to 17 as bushfires blaze

The death toll from Australia’s raging bushfires rose to 17 Wednesday. Three bodies were found at Lake Conjola on the coast of New South Wales. In the state of Victoria, thousands from the coastal town of Mallacoota were forced to flee to the beach on Tuesday as strong winds fueled flames.
