Regardless of which side of the political spectrum you reside on, the amount of money spent on political campaigns seems ridiculous. I know it's a drop in the bucket with the population of the States, but still.

Bernie has over 5 million individual donors thus far, far more than any candidate including trump. He gained over 300k new donors in December alone, and he continues to build momentum!

Trump may even be eligible for a third term. He will go down in history as one of if not the greatest potus ever. He should be added to mount rushmore* * so long as he resolves: 1. The china problem 2. Deepstate problem 3. Silicon Valley problem 4. Infrastructure 5. Misc He's in track to solve all of these. This is why he will in my opinion be successful in a third term which also would make up for the first one being stolen from Him by traitors.

Standing virtually unopposed in an incumbency protected Non-Primary (no debates and no election), raising $46 million is nothing compared to raising $34 million in a competitive race against several candidates, which Bernie did. Combine Biden and Pete's totals that's more than Trump's numbers. Heck, combine Bernie and Yang's totals, or sub Yang's with Warren's total, and it's still more than Trump's haul. There is more campaign fundraising enthusiasm for Dem Party candidates combined than for Trump.
