Here's an idea. rather than rely on the volunteer force, why not have an agreement between the USA and Australia to fund a year around wildfire response army, yes, the need is that big, to help our countries in each other's off season of fires? Aussies paid to fly to USA in your summer and Yanks fly to us in our summer. large professionally wild fire trained personnel. Fires are getting worse every year here in Oz. we need some strong response and it will cost a lot of money
