Israeli Supreme Court ducks confrontation, for now

The Israeli Supreme Court dismissed a case that sought to block Prime Minister Netanyahu from leading a government if his coalition wins the March elections. The petition asked the Court to rule that someone under indictment cannot form a government. PM Netanyahu has been charged with bribery and fraud. The Court said the petition was premature leaving a possibility they will hear the case later.
