Protests against war with Iran held in 80 communities around US

The Trump administration’s drone strike killing of Iranian general Soleimani in Baghdad has led some to fear a full-scale war between Iran and the United States. On Saturday, anti-war protesters assembled across the U.S. to protest the administration’s action. Protests took place in 80 cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C

It's a good thing that the Democrats have so many unemployed supporters to man these protests.

Why didn’t they come out on the streets to protest their support for Trump when he exercised restraint in an effort to avoid war last year? Oh that’s right they were too busy accusing him of weakness and incompetence. These people are truly pathetic on many levels

Organising the protests probably took longer than beating the Iranian military would take. America taking out Iran would be a war in the same way that a professional boxer punching a baby would be considered a fight.

Where was the protests when Obama killed innocents in Syria?

I don’t want war either, but when it comes knocking you answer with a shotgun at the door. Iran started this long ago.

I agree with the position "No war". That said, a blistering pounding from the air on Iranian military, government and nuclear development sites wouldn't be war. It would be a serious declaration that attacks upon the US and/or its citizens by a foreign government will be met with an overwhelming response. No war. No boots on the ground. No US casualties. No widows or Americans with PTSD. No reparations or rebuilding. Quick. Dirty. Cheap. Clear.

Protesting against war is fine, but stay on message Lefties. Frankly, it's about time that the Left remembered to be anti-war instead of leaving that to Trump supporters.

and just like that the left, who was condemning our leaving Syria just a few months ago, has turned back into doves. This is great...join the Trump and libertarian right who have been calling for de-escalation for years. And yes, we get to protect our embassies.
