Men identifying themselves as intelligence officials raided a publisher’s office in Pakistan and confiscated copies of a satirical novel about a former military ruler’s death. Mohammed Hanif, Pakistan’s most well known authors, in his novel ’A Case of Exploding Mangoes’, satirizes the circumstances surrounding the death of General Zia ul-Haq. Hanif has been critical of the military in the past.
