Australians protest over climate change policy amid devastating fire

Thousands of Australians took to the streets in Sydney to protest against government inaction on climate change as bushfires continue to rage in the country. The aborigines of Australia had a long tradition of burning off the bush by starting fires on purpose regularly. So, Australia has a long history of bush fires. The native people knew that controlled fires helped prevent large scale burns. Why would I not be surprised to find that the current Australian blazes are because the bush went unburned and not because of climate change?
