New York Senate passes automatic voter registration bill

New York Senate Democrats on Thursday passed legislation that would automatically register eligible voters upon interacting with certain state agencies, making voter registration a matter of opting out rather than opting in. The bill would create a system of automatic voter registration when a person submits an application to the Department of Health or the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Brietbart with zero fact. just an article about what they think it means. take this article off. it doesn't even present the basic facts of the bill being advanced. shameful.

That's how Oregon works.. N it's got highest pop of voter participation in usa... N they run a tight ship... U must opt out to not vote n if u fail to renew ur license or state tax return u are taken off the voter reg... They have a serious set of cross checks to expose any kind of voter fraud... It's a model program
