College professor fired after joking that Iran should target Mall of America

A Babson College adjunct professor was fired after making a joke on his Facebook account about Iran bombing American cultural sites. ’In retaliation, Ayatollah Khomeini should tweet a list of 52 sites of beloved American cultural heritage that he would bomb. Mall of America?... Kardashian residence?,’ wrote Asheen Phansey. The post has since been deleted, and Phansey has apologized for posting it.

Yeah I am pretty sure I wouldn't like this guy but honestly he shouldn't lose his job of a stupid joke like this.

Firing the guy for an obvious joke is censorious and retarded

That honestly was pretty tame and seemed more like a jab at the rampant consumerism in our country.

🤷‍♂️ Sounds funny. Do''t think he should lose his job.

Its a joke. Kind of funny. It's a jome about American Consumerism, not a call for violence.

I don’t think he should’ve been fired. Reprimanded, maybe.
